Global Metal Ltd. (the “Company”) respects the privacy of website users. This policy explains what information may be collected when you use the website, how it is used, with whom it may be shared and what choices are available to you.
You are not required to provide personal information, but without certain details we may be unable to respond to an enquiry submitted through the website.
2. Information we may collect
- Information you provide: name, email address, telephone number, subject and message submitted through the contact form, as well as information provided by phone, email or WhatsApp.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, access times, viewed pages, and operational or security data that may be collected by hosting and infrastructure providers.
- Location for local weather: only after you grant permission through the browser prompt, the website uses location coordinates to display your city and local weather. The Company does not store this location data in its own databases.
3. How information is used
- Responding to enquiries and providing information, advice or a quotation.
- Reliable operation, security, troubleshooting and improvement of the website experience.
- Displaying local information requested by you, such as weather in your area.
- Meeting legal obligations, protecting legal rights and preventing misuse.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses browser local storage to remember acknowledgement of the privacy notice and accessibility preferences you choose, such as text size, contrast and reduced motion. The current version does not use company-controlled cookies for targeted advertising or marketing analytics.
You can delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking may prevent preferences from being remembered or cause certain services not to display as expected. You can reopen the privacy notice through “Privacy settings” in the footer and reset accessibility preferences from the accessibility panel.
5. External providers and services
The Company may use external providers to operate the website and its services, including:
- Google Firebase for hosting, infrastructure, security and delivery of website content, and Google Fonts for website typography.
- Open‑Meteo for weather information and BigDataCloud for city-name lookup, after browser location permission is granted.
- Google Maps to display the map on the contact page after the privacy notice is accepted.
- WhatsApp when you choose to contact the Company through the website button or form. Details entered in the form are processed in your browser to prepare the message and are not sent to WhatsApp until you continue to the chat and send it.
Information may be processed outside Israel when these services are used, subject to the relevant provider’s terms and privacy policy.
6. Sharing information
The Company does not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed with providers supporting website operations and enquiry handling, where required by law or a competent order, or to protect the rights of the Company, its employees, clients and the public.
7. Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, fulfil the purposes in this policy and meet legal requirements. The Company uses reasonable and accepted safeguards, but no internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure against intrusion, loss or unauthorised use.
8. Your rights and requests
Subject to applicable law, you may contact the Company to request access to personal information held about you, correction of information that is inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, or deletion where there is no legal requirement to retain it.
